The front is expected to move off the coast by mid-day Tuesday.
Halifax, Nash, Edgecombe, Wilson and Wayne counties are under a wind
advisory. Gusts up to 45 miles per hour are possible.
Mainland Dare, Mainland Hyde, Carteret, Outer Banks Hyde and Outer
Banks Dare counties are under a wind advisory. Gusts to 50 mph are
possible.
A gale warning is in effect for North Carolina's coast through Tuesday morning.
